Tournament Timeline

The Yuva Kabaddi Series began in March 2022 with a bold ambition: to make Kabaddi a year-round national sport where young athletes could compete consistently, build careers, and create lasting rivalries. What started with the inaugural Summer Edition in Jaipur quickly grew into a pan-India calendar — three national tournaments in 2022, state championships such as KMP YKS in Maharashtra, and a footprint that expanded from a handful of states to more than seventeen. Along the way, YKS broke new ground with the JSG Women's edition in Jaipur, the Tamil Nadu Clubs championship in Chennai, and Edition 11 in Coimbatore, which introduced a revolutionary divisional promotion-and-relegation format and crowned champions across three tiers of competition.

In 2025, YKS entered its next chapter. The Yuva All Stars Championship in Haridwar brought together the finest talent from Edition 11 and invitational teams for the league's first standalone national showcase, while the Yuva Andhra Championship (YAC) and Yuva Telangana Championship (YTC) extended the YKS model into the Telugu Kabaddi heartland as state-level feeder tournaments. Together, these editions reflect a league that has grown from a single-city debut into a multi-format ecosystem — national, state, and regional — built on the same promise that launched the journey in 2022.
