Yuva Kabaddi Series Edition 11

Yuva Kabaddi Series was back with Edition 11, in a new format, Edition 11 had 26 teams participate in the tournament, all the action unfolded in Karpagam University, Coimbatore. 26 teams were divided into 3 divisions, Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3, with Division 1 being the top tier, followed by Division 2 and Division 3.

The action kicked off with Division 3, where 9 teams participated, Himalayan Tahrs and Vasco vipers were constantly topped the round, where the teams played a single round robin, teams like Tadoba Tigers and Indore Invisibles gave a good fight, but the Vipers and Tahrs topped the points table to set up a high stake final match of the division, the winner of this division earned a place in the Grand Finale. Vasco Vipers held their nerve to clinch the final match vs the Himalayan Tahrs to qualify for the Grand Finale. Prince Dahiya topped the raiders chart in the division 3 with 97 raid points, Sachin Krishan finished division 3 as the best defender with 36 tackle points to his name.

The action moved to the Division 2, where two teams were set to qualify for the Grand Finale. UP Falcons had a tournament to remember, they dominated from match 1 1 to finish on the top of the table to qualify for the grand finale with 7 wins and only 1 loss, followed by Chandigarh Chargers who finished 2nd with 6 wins and 2 losses. UP Falcons and Chandigarh Chargers played the final of division 2 where UP Falcons won a close encounter, after being behind by 16 points in thew first half, they pulled off one of the best comebacks in YKS to become the division 2 champions. Suresh Oruganti from Hyderabad Hurricanes finished as the best raider of the division 2 with 86 raid points to his name, Darshan Ravi from Hampi Heroes scored 39 tackle points to become the best defender of Division 2

After a high intensity Division 2, the action moved to most anticipated and strong Division 1, where the top teams were set to fight out to become division 1 champions and also top 3 teams had a chance to make it to the Grand Finale. Palani Tuskers, Sonipat Spartans and Kurukshetra Warriors were the teams that looked the best in the division 1, by playing top quality Kabaddi. Karpagam Raiders- the home team as well showed glimpses of good performances in the high quality division 1 matches.Palani Tuskers, Sonipat Spartans and Kurukshetra Warriors were the top 3 teams at the end of the league matches and earned their qualification to the Grand Finale. Palani Tuskers and Sonipat Spartans played the Division 1 Finale, the rivalry was set very well in the only league match they faced each other, that game was one of the most intense games of Kabaddi in the YKS platform. Palani Tuskers won league match vs the Spartans, setting a high stakes final for determining the ultimate champions of Division 1. Palani Tuskers cruised through the final vs Sonipat Spartans as the Spartans faced injury concerns in the final where they lost their top raider Ankit Saharwa in the 1st 5 mins of the match. Palani Tuskers beat the Spartans with a scoreline of 42-15.

Ankit Saharwa from Sonipat Spartans finished as the best raider of Division 1 with 74 raid points, his teammate and captain of Sonipat Spartans Rahul Ahri scored 35 tackle points to finish as the best defender of Division 1, he also the most consistent defender in whole of Division rounds, he scored 4 tackle points in all matches except for the Division 1 final.

Total of 6 teams made it to the Grand Finale, Palani Tuskers, Sonipat Spartans, Kurukshetra Warriors, UP Falcons, Chandigarh Chargers and Vasco Vipers

DIVISION 1

The 11th edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series Division 1 Round, held from January 3 to January 10, 2025, in Coimbatore, featured eight teams competing in a single round-robin format followed by knockout matches. Palani Tuskers emerged as champions, defeating Sonipat Spartans 42–15 in the final, while Kurukshetra Warriors secured third place. These three teams qualified for the Yuva All Stars Championship 2025, joining top performers from Divisions 2 and 3, along with six professional youth teams, to compete in a 12-team tournament held in Haridwar from March 6 to April 4, 2025.

DIVISION 2

The 11th edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series Division 2 Round, held in Coimbatore from December 23, 2024, featured multiple teams competing in a round-robin format, followed by knockout stages. UP Falcons emerged as the champions, defeating Chandigarh Chargers in a closely contested final. Both UP Falcons and Chandigarh Chargers qualified for the Yuva All Stars Championship 2025, joining top teams from Divisions 1 and 3, along with six professional youth teams, to compete in a 12-team tournament held in Haridwar from March 6 to April 4, 2025.

The 11th edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series Division 3 Round, held in December 2024 at the Karpagam Academy of Higher Education in Coimbatore, featured multiple teams competing in a round-robin format followed by knockout stages. Vasco Vipers emerged as champions, defeating the previously unbeaten Himalayan Tahrs in a closely contested final. With this victory, Vasco Vipers secured their place in the Yuva All Stars Championship 2025, joining top teams from Divisions 1 and 2, along with six professional youth teams, to compete in a 12-team tournament held in Haridwar from March 6 to April 4, 2025
