Bharathi Raja, born on November 13, 1999, originates from Ramakavundampatti, Trichy, Tamil Nadu. His father, MuthuKrishnan, earns a living through farming, while his mother, Mariammal, manages their household. Bharathi has two siblings, an elder brother named Mohan and an elder sister named Meenakshi. Interestingly, Bharathi's elder brother is actively involved in Kabaddi and plays for their home team, Shankar Forts Club. Bharathi's Kabaddi journey began at the age of 16, where he found his niche as a Left Cover Defender. He specializes in the Double Thigh Hold technique, a skill he greatly admires in his favorite player, Dharmaraj Cheralathan. Bharathi's coaching comes directly from his elder brother, who likely serves as both a mentor and a role model. Although Kabaddi is his primary passion, Bharathi also enjoys playing volleyball, considering himself an average player in the sport. Despite having completed his education up to the 12th standard, Bharathi's aspiration is to become a professional Kabaddi player. His proudest moment so far is his participation in the state league.
