Sudalai Muthu, born on December 2, 2003, originates from SathanKulam, Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, born to parents Sengan and EsakkiAmmal, both farmers by occupation. Sudalai Muthu is the eldest among his siblings, with two younger brothers named Ananda Murugan and Senthil Murugan. His Kabaddi journey commenced at the age of 16, assuming the pivotal role of a Right Corner Defender. Renowned for his mastery over the double thigh hold technique, Sudalai Muthu trains diligently under the guidance of coach Samiappan, a former player for Samy Sports. His practice sessions are conducted at various locations, including the Samy Academy Ground, Sri Ganesh College, and his home ground. Sudalai Muthu draws inspiration from his favorite player, Pradeep Narwal, particularly admiring his dubki skill. Beyond Kabaddi, Sudalai Muthu enjoys playing cricket, considering himself an average player in the sport. Throughout his career, Sudalai Muthu has represented his hometown team in Thoothukudi and participated in South Zone competitions. Notable highlights include a crucial match in Trichy, where his adept angle hold maneuver overturned the result in his team's favor. Having completed his BBA degree in 2024, Sudalai Muthu harbors aspirations of becoming a Sub Inspector, leveraging his passion for Kabaddi as a stepping stone towards achieving his career goals.
