Chinnadurai Lakshmanan

In the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, representing AMKC Gobi, we have Chinnadurai L. Born on June 25, 1999, in Bhavani, Erode, Tamil Nadu, Chinnadurai currently resides in Bhavani. His father, Lakshmanan, works as a farmer, cultivating sugarcane, turmeric, and coconut, while his mother, Kaveri, is a homemaker. He has two elder brothers named Perumal and Devaraj, both of whom also play kabaddi for fun. Chinnadurai started playing kabaddi at the age of 14 and primarily operates as a Right Corner Defender. His favorite skills in kabaddi are the ankle hold and chain tackle. He practices near his house under the guidance of coach Ismail. His favorite kabaddi player is Manjeet Chillar, whom he admires for his dash and chain tackle abilities. Chinnadurai has represented in various tournaments, including the South Zone Inter-University, where he has showcased his skills. He has also won a bronze medal in the Sub-Junior State category and a silver medal in the Senior State category. One of his career highlights includes winning the gold medal in the Gramotsavam Isha event. Currently pursuing a College Graduation degree in MA English, Chinnadurai aspires to win the 5 lakh prize money in the Gramotsavam Isha event in the future. Apart from kabaddi, he enjoys playing cricket and actively participates in other sports as well.
