Siva Barath, born on August 11, 2004, hails from Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, where his father, Rabikumar, works as a teacher and his mother, Manjula, manages their household. He has an elder brother named Subhash Chandra Bose. Despite having siblings, none of them share Siva's interest in Kabaddi. At the age of 14, Siva discovered his passion for Kabaddi and began his journey as a Left Cover Defender. His standout skill on the field is the Chain Lock/ Grappling technique, which he has honed through rigorous training under the guidance of his school Physical Education teacher, UdayKumar. Siva draws inspiration from Jeeva Kumar, a player from the Bengal Warriors PKBD Team, admiring his running dash and robust physique. While Kabaddi is his primary sport, Siva also dabbles in cricket, considering himself an average player in the sport. Despite his sporting pursuits, Siva is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), which he aims to complete by 2025. Siva's proudest moments include representing his hometown Thanjavur in the State Kabaddi Team, where they secured the 2nd runner-up position. His ultimate aspiration is to become a professional Kabaddi player, a dream he is determined to achieve through hard work and dedication.
