G. Yuvaraj

Yuvaraj G, born on March 5, 2003, originates from Mannarkudi, Tanjore, Tamil Nadu, and currently resides there. His father, Gunasekaran T, earns his livelihood as a farmer, while his late mother, Selvi G, managed the household. Yuvaraj has an elder brother named Gokul Raj, who doesn't share his interest in kabaddi. Yuvaraj started his kabaddi journey at the age of 15, specializing as a Left Raider, renowned for his powerful kicks. Under the mentorship of Coach Ravichandran, who generously volunteers his time to train kabaddi enthusiasts like Yuvaraj at SRM Club, Yuvaraj hones his skills diligently. He admires Chandran Ranjit, a kabaddi player, for his remarkable skills and attitude on the field. Yuvaraj has represented his district in various tournaments, including the Sub Junior State in 2016 and Junior State in 2022. Despite excelling in kabaddi, he also enjoys playing cricket. Currently pursuing his Masters in Computer Science, Yuvaraj dreams of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League and securing a government job in the future. Described as dedicated and ambitious, Yuvaraj aims to make a mark in both sports and his professional career.
