K. Surendhar

Surendhar, born on May 7, 2005, originates from Trichy, Tamil Nadu, and currently resides in Chennai. His father, Karikalan, and mother, Bhanumathi, are both involved in banana plantation farming. Surendhar has four elder sisters named Vigneshwari, Jagadeeshwari, Lokeshwari, and Aarthi, none of whom play kabaddi. Surendhar kabaddi journey began at the age of 10, playing in the streets of his neighborhood. Specializing as a Left Raider, he possesses a diverse set of skills including jumping, Dubki, hand touch, and bonus points. He receives coaching from his cousin brothers, Saravanan and Rajesh Prem - village coach. His favorite kabaddi player is Pardeep Narwal, admired for his mastery of the Dubki skill, hand touches, and bonus points. Surendhar has represented his university in tournaments like Khelo India and the South Zone Inter University championships. Outside of kabaddi, Surendhar is solely focused on his education, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in History. His aspirations include representing at higher levels in kabaddi and securing a good job for a stable future. Described as a simple and determined individual, Surendhar aims to settle down in life through his hard work and dedication.
