B. Manivannan

In the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, representing the Sivagangai Warriors, we have Manivannan B. Born on July 14, 2006, in Thoothukudi District, Tamil Nadu, Manivannan currently resides in Thoothukudi. His father, Balasubramanian P, works as a farmer cultivating coconuts, while his mother, Sangarammal B, is a homemaker. He has one elder sister named Madhubala B. Manivannan started playing kabaddi at the age of 13 and plays as a Right Cover Defender. His best skill on the field is the Running Dash. His coach, Vetrivel, who works in ESI and is the kabaddi coach of Kakivilai Sports Club, guides him in his practice sessions at SAI Chennai. He admires Abhinesh Natarajan, a professional kabaddi player, especially for his skills as they play in the same position. Manivannan's favorite skill in kabaddi is the Chain Tackle. He has represented Tamil Nadu in various tournaments: - Khelo India Youth Games 2024: Represented the Tamil Nadu Team and won the Bronze medal. - School State 2019: Played for Ambrose HSS. Apart from kabaddi, Manivannan enjoys playing cricket. He is currently pursuing a BA in Business Economics and aspires to secure a job in the Income Tax Department through the sports quota. His ultimate goals include representing the Indian Kabaddi Team and playing in the Pro Kabaddi League.
