C. Sivalingam

In the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, representing the Sivagangai Warriors, we have Sivalingam. He was born on January 14, 2004, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, and currently resides in Chennai, where he has been training at SAI for the last three years. Sivalingam's father, K Chellapandi, works as an electrician, and his mother, Murugeshwari, is a homemaker. He has one younger brother named Devkumar, who does not play kabaddi. Sivalingam started playing kabaddi at the age of 17, inspired by the enthusiasm for the sport in his area. He prefers the position of Right Raider, with his best skill being the Hand Touch. His coach, Surya, is his brother from the village, and he practices at SAI in Chennai. His favorite player is Ajay Thakur, known for his exceptional hand touch skill, which Sivalingam admires and seeks to emulate. Sivalingam has represented his university and state in various championships, including the South Zone University in 2023 and both Senior and Junior State Championships in 2022 and 2023 respectively. Currently pursuing a college graduation degree in B.A History, Sivalingam aspires to achieve significant success in his kabaddi career, aiming to play for Team India in the future. Despite his career highlights still awaiting a significant breakthrough, Sivalingam remains dedicated to his aspirations.
