Arya Ashok Kumar

Arya Ashok Kumar, born on November 3, 2005, originally hails from Trichy, Tamil Nadu. His father, Ashok Kumar, is a businessman, while his mother, Tamil Ilakkiya, manages their home. Arya has a younger brother named Aadhitya, who does not play Kabaddi. Arya began his Kabaddi journey at the age of 15, showcasing his prowess as an All Rounder, adept at both Right Corner defending and right raiding. Under the guidance of coach Prem, Arya refines his skills at the Samy Academy Ground and the Prist University Ground. He particularly admires coach Damodharan for his intelligent match planning. Apart from Kabaddi, Arya excels in volleyball, showcasing his athleticism and versatility in sports. His career highlights include a memorable moment where he turned the tide of a local match by strategically gaining bonus points in the final raid, securing victory for his team. Currently pursuing his B.Com degree, set to complete in 2027, Arya aspires to secure a government job, leveraging his passion for Kabaddi as a means to succeed in life.
