Bhuvaneshwaran Thennarasu

Bhuvaneshwaran T, representing the Jayachitra Club in the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, was born on February 2, 2002, in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. Currently residing in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, his father, Thennarasu A, works as a farmer, while his mother, Rajeshwari T, is a housewife. He has an elder sister named Elavaarsi, who does not play Kabaddi. Bhuvaneshwaran developed an interest in Kabaddi during his 8th standard after witnessing people playing in his village. Excelling as a Right Cover Defender, his best skill is the Chain Tackle. He receives coaching from Paneerselvam and Balamahendra at the Sulur Sports Club in Coimbatore. His favorite player is Manjeet Chillar, known for his dash skill as a cover defender. Apart from Kabaddi, Bhuvaneshwaran enjoys playing cricket and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Commerce (MCom). His career highlights include reaching the semi-finals of the Senior State tournament in 2023, representing Coimbatore against Trichy, albeit losing in a tie-breaker. His future aspirations include playing in the Pro Kabaddi League and securing a government job. Bhuvaneshwaran's journey reflects his dedication to Kabaddi, driven by his passion for the sport and his desire to excel at the highest levels.
