Ajay Sekar

Ajay S, born on November 10, 2003, hails from Thiruppathur District, Tamil Nadu, and currently resides in Jolarpett. His father, Sakar S, does not have a specified occupation, while his mother, Kalaiselvi, works as a daily wage laborer. Ajay has two elder sisters named Keerthana and Mathan, with Mathan being the one who plays kabaddi. Ajay's journey in kabaddi began at the age of 17, primarily assuming the role of a Right Corner Defender. His best skill lies in executing precise thigh holds, enabling him to effectively stop raiders in their tracks. Under the guidance of Coach Madhankumar at the PK Sports Foundation, Ajay hones his skills to excel in his position. Ajay draws inspiration from Prasad, a kabaddi player in PK Sports who specializes in playing in the right corner. He admires Prasad's proficiency in executing thigh hold techniques, which Ajay aims to emulate and master in his own game. Ajay has represented Thiruppathur District in various kabaddi tournaments, including the Junior State 2024 and the CM Trophy 2023. Apart from kabaddi, Ajay also enjoys playing volleyball and cricket. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. With aspirations to secure a job in the Tamil Nadu Police Department, Ajay remains dedicated to his kabaddi training while pursuing his education.
