Currently residing in Karupanthurai, Tirunelveli, Stalin comes from a family where his father, Alex, works as a construction laborer, and his mother, Prema, is involved in tailoring. He has two elder brothers, Clinton and Gibson, with Gibson playing local kabaddi and Clinton pursuing bodybuilding. Stalin's journey in Kabaddi began at the age of 10, inspired by the widespread participation in the sport within his village. His original playing position is the Left Corner Defender, where he excels in techniques like the Ankle Hold and Hip Hold. Under the guidance of his coach, Ravi Chandran from the Alathankarai Club, Stalin has honed his skills and developed as a player. His favorite player is Surendra Nada, known as India's best corner player, whom he considers as his role model for his exceptional skills. Stalin has represented his university, Vels University, in various competitions, including the University Khelo India Games and the All India University Games, where he won a silver medal. He also achieved success in the South Zone University Games in 2023, securing the first position. Currently pursuing his first year of BBA, Stalin's career highlight was winning a medal in the All India games. His future aspiration is to start a Kabaddi academy for his village, offering free training to children to keep them away from unhealthy habits like smoking.
