His father, Jeyapal R, works as a farmer, while his mother, Santhi J, manages their household. He has an elder sister named Ranjitha and a younger brother named Periyaswamy, both of whom play Kabaddi, with his brother even representing the state. Rajapal's journey in Kabaddi began at the age of 17. Initially, he practiced volleyball in school, but it wasn't given much importance. However, the physical education teacher from his village emphasized Kabaddi, which piqued Rajapal's interest. He specializes as a Right Raider, with his best skill being the Toetouch. Under the guidance of coaches Velmurugan and Rajadurai at the AZ Kabaddi Club in Kanyakumari, Rajapal hones his Kabaddi skills. He admires Aslam Inamdar for his kick and jump skills, finding inspiration in his gameplay. Rajapal has represented in various tournaments, including the South Zone University at Anna University in 2024 and the Junior State in 2021. His participation in the South Zone University tournament in 2024 stands out as a career highlight. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Rajapal aspires to secure a job in the central government. Despite starting his Kabaddi journey relatively late, his dedication and passion for the sport have propelled him to success, and he aims to continue excelling both on and off the mat.
