Pranesh Karthick

Pranesh Karthick, born on May 1, 2002, is a kabaddi enthusiast hailing from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Growing up in the bustling city, Pranesh developed a keen interest in kabaddi from a young age. His father, Vadivel, earns his livelihood as a car driver for Ola and Uber services in Coimbatore, while his mother, Shanmugavadivu, serves as a Junior Assistant at TNAU. At the age of 12, Pranesh began his kabaddi journey, inspired by the vibrant festivals that captivated his attention during the night. He found himself drawn to the energy and excitement of kabaddi matches, particularly the strategy and agility of the players on the field. Pranesh's preferred position on the kabaddi court is the Right Raider, where he excels in executing hand touches and right kicks to secure crucial points for his team. Initially guided by his friend Saravana Kumar, Pranesh further honed his skills under the mentorship of Coach Madan at the BJ Brothers Club in Coimbatore. Among his favorite players, Pranesh holds Ajjith Kumar in high regard, particularly admiring his expertise in hand touches and bonus point strategies. Ajjith Kumar, Pranesh's senior in college, played a significant role in training and motivating him to excel in the sport. Pranesh's career highlights include his participation in prestigious events such as the South Zone Inter-University and Inter-District championships, where he showcased his talent and dedication to the game. Currently pursuing his 2nd year of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Pranesh's aspirations extend beyond local tournaments. His ultimate goal is to compete in the YKS tournament, a dream he is on the brink of realizing, and eventually, to make a mark in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). Described as a lean and tall individual with impeccable manners, Pranesh embodies clarity of thought and determination in pursuit of his kabaddi dreams.
