Sudhakar Karuppannan

Sudhakar K, born on September 14, 2003, originally comes from Erode, Tamil Nadu. His father, Karuppannan, works as a carpenter, while his mother, Jayanthi, takes care of their home. Sudhakar has two elder sisters, Karpagam and Vijayalakshmi. Sudhakar's journey in Kabaddi began at the age of 9, showcasing his versatility as an All Rounder. Proficient in positions such as Right Corner Defender and Left Corner Defender, he hones his skills under the guidance of coach Gurunathan at various grounds including the Bhavani Boys School Ground, his home ground, and the AMKC Gobi ground. Sudhakar draws inspiration from Chinna Durai of AMKC Gobi, admiring his all-round style of play. While Sudhakar doesn't engage in other sports, he finds fulfillment in Kabaddi, especially cherishing his participation in events like the CM trophy and university matches, where his team secured the first runner-up position. Having completed his B.Com degree in 2024, Sudhakar aspires to become a professional Kabaddi player, aiming to compete in the Pro Kabaddi League. Despite his modest upbringing, Sudhakar remains grateful for what he has achieved in life, embodying the spirit of contentment and honesty. With a positive outlook and dedication to his craft, Sudhakar is poised to pursue his dreams in Kabaddi with zeal and determination.
