A Gokulraj

In the YKS TN Clubs 2024 tournament, representing AMKC Gobi, we have A Gokulraj. Born on November 13, 2002, in Erode, Tamil Nadu, Gokulraj currently resides in Kanchikovil, Erode. Sadly, both of his parents, Arjunan A and Selvi A, are late. He has an elder brother named Naveen Kumar A, who also plays kabaddi and currently works in the Town Panchayat. Gokulraj began playing kabaddi at the age of 12 and specializes as a Right Raider, with his best skill being the Hand Touch. He receives coaching from Vetri at the Sri Raghavendra Kabaddi Club in Kanchikovil, where he also practices. His favorite kabaddi player is Krishnan, an Erode District player whom he admires for his excellent skills despite being short. Gokulraj has represented his district in various tournaments, including the Sub Junior State in 2016 and 2017, Junior State in 2021, and Bharatiyar University Inter College representing Dr. NGP Arts and Science College. Apart from kabaddi, Gokulraj enjoys playing cricket and chess. He is currently pursuing a Masters's degree in Computer Science (MSc) and is in his second year of study. One of his career highlights includes winning the Sub Junior Nationals in 2017 and being awarded the best man of the match. Gokulraj's future aspirations include representing Tamil Nadu in Senior Nationals, playing in the Pro Kabaddi League, and securing a government job.
