Ragul Vetriselvan

Ragul, born on July 9, 2003, hails from Gobichettipalayam, Tamil Nadu. His father, Vetriselvan, is involved in real estate, while his mother, Vasuki, sadly, has passed away. Ragul is the sole child in his family. Starting his Kabaddi journey at the tender age of 10, Ragul showcased his skills as a Left Raider. Renowned for his support toe technique, he trains under the guidance of coach Somasundaram at the AMKC Ground and his school ground. Ragul finds inspiration in Manigandan, an AMKC Raider, particularly admiring his jumping skills and bonus style. Beyond Kabaddi, Ragul demonstrates proficiency in cricket, showcasing his talent and versatility in sports. Despite participating only at the junior state level, Ragul's passion for Kabaddi remains undiminished. Notable highlights include winning the sub-junior state championship and emerging victorious in inter-college competitions representing Bharathiar University. Currently pursuing his B.Sc in Physical Education, set to complete in 2025, Ragul aspires to become a professional Kabaddi player, aiming to compete at the highest level in the Pro Kabaddi League. Despite being shy, Ragul is a talented introvert, harboring dreams of a successful career in Kabaddi. With determination and dedication, Ragul aims to carve a niche for himself in the world of Kabaddi.
