Hari Selva Karthikeyyan, born on November 24, 2002, hails from Ambasamuthiram, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. His father, Uma Maheswaran, works as a daily wage laborer, while his mother, Marilakshmi, has passed away. He has two younger sisters named Priya and Hema, who do not play Kabaddi. Starting Kabaddi at the age of 14, Hari has developed into an all-rounder, specializing in left cover defense and right raiding. He excels in grabbing opponents from the back, a skill he honed under the guidance of his coach, Ravichandran, from the Senior Championship Team. Despite not having his mother around, Hari perseveres, driven by his passion for Kabaddi. He admires Babu Murugesan from the Patna Pirates for his skill and seniority in the sport. Apart from Kabaddi, Hari enjoys playing cricket as well. With aspirations to join the police force as a Sub Inspector, Hari aims for success both on and off the Kabaddi mat. His selection for the postal team stands as a testament to his dedication and talent in the sport.
