Maneesh Saravanan. R, born on March 11, 2003, hails from Mullakaadu, Tuticurin, Tamil Nadu. Currently residing in Panagudi, Tirunelveli, he moved there because it's his father’s place. His father, Ravi. D, works as a daily wage worker, while his mother, Viji. R, takes care of the household. Maneesh has a younger brother named Mathesh Kumar. R, who does not play Kabaddi. Maneesh's journey in Kabaddi began when he was 15 years old, despite facing opposition from his parents. Despite their disapproval, he secretly participated in Kabaddi tournaments, driven by his passion for the sport, and started playing as a Left Raider. His favorite move is the hand touch. Ravichandran, his coach, played a pivotal role in motivating him to pursue Kabaddi, despite his parents' objections, and taught him everything about the sport. Maneesh practices at AZ club Alathankarai. His favorite player is Aslam Inamdar, whom he admires for his hard work, positive attitude, and energetic presence on the field. Aslam's journey, marked by struggles and determination, serves as an inspiration to Maneesh and many others. Maneesh has represented his state in the State Championship Tournament, marking a significant milestone in his Kabaddi career. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, MSC in Computer Science, 1st year, Maneesh aspires to represent India in Kabaddi and secure a stable government job in the future.
