Srinath, born on May 14, 1999, originates from Vaduvur in Thiruvavur, Tamil Nadu, and currently resides in Thiruvavur. His father, Balaguru, is a farmer who cultivates wheat and groundnut, while his mother, Vanita, manages the household. Srinath has an elder brother named Sridhar, who also plays kabaddi and has represented in Junior State tournaments. Srinath's kabaddi journey began at the age of 14, inspired by the prevalent kabaddi culture in his village. Specializing as a Left Raider, Srinath is known for his expertise in techniques like the Toe Touch and Bonus points. He receives guidance and motivation from his coach, Soundararajan, who supports him both on and off the field. His favorite kabaddi player is Manjeet Chillar, admired for his determination and skill in raiding. Srinath has represented his school in Inter-School tournaments, his university in South Zone Inter-University competitions, and participated in Senior Nationals. Aside from kabaddi, Srinath enjoys playing cricket. Currently in his final year pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Srinath aspires to represent India in kabaddi.
