Ananjay Singh, born on January 15, 2005, in Nagaruntari, Garhwa, is a young and passionate kabaddi player. Growing up in a supportive family led by his father, Shyam Bihari Singh, a retired professional, and his mother, Bimla Devi, a dedicated housewife, Ananjay found his love for kabaddi at the age of 14. It all began in 2018 when he watched the Pro Kabaddi League on television and decided to try his hand at the sport with a friend. This fun experiment soon turned into a committed journey as he joined a local academy to hone his skills. Coached by Ajay Kumar Gupta, Ananjay practices at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Haryana. As a Left Raider, his favorite skills include the Bonus and Hand Touch, two techniques he admires from his idol, Pawan Sehrawat. Ananjay's career shines with achievements like winning a bronze medal at the 2019 School National Championship and participating in both the Junior and Senior National Tournaments for Jharkhand. With dreams of making it to the Pro Kabaddi League, Ananjay embodies the spirit of determination and ambition. Though he is currently studying up to the 12th standard, his focus remains on kabaddi, where he hopes to make his mark in the future.
