Abhishek Devidas Nimbalkar, born on August 19, 2001, in Nagpur, Maharashtra, is a vibrant young talent in the world of kabaddi. Growing up in a loving family, with his father Devidas working as an electric contractor and his mother Vandana embracing her role as a homemaker, Abhishek was inspired to pursue his dreams from a young age. He shares a close bond with his two older brothers, Akshay and Suraj. Abhishek's journey in kabaddi began when he was just twelve, thanks to a dedicated sports teacher who ignited his passion for the game. His excitement for kabaddi quickly grew, and today, he proudly plays as a left raider. His coach, Himanshu Tidke, has been instrumental in shaping his skills at the Om Amar Academy, where he loves to practice. One of Abhishek's fondest memories is from a state match where he scored crucial points during a last raid, a moment that he cherishes. With a favorite raider like Navin Kumar to look up to, Abhishek is constantly honing his skills, especially his jump and slip maneuvers. With a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and aspirations of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League, Abhishek is determined to make his mark in the sport he loves, bringing excitement and passion to every match he plays.
