Asif Nadaf

Asif Sikandar Nadaf, born on November 10, 2001, in Sangli, Maharashtra, epitomizes the spirit of perseverance and dedication. Raised in a nurturing household by his father Sikandar Nadaf, who works in construction, and his mother Shabira Sikandar Nadaf, a homemaker, Asif found his passion for kabaddi at an early age. With an elder brother, Aslam Sikandar Nadaf, who doesn't play kabaddi, Asif embarked on his kabaddi journey during his school days, igniting his love for the sport at the age of 16. As a versatile athlete, Asif excels as a right cover defender, specializing in swift dashes that disrupt opponents' raids and turn the tide in his team's favor. Under the guidance of coach Prashant Kore at Mahalaxmi Club, Asif hones his skills and refines his game, striving for excellence with each practice session. Inspired by the raiding prowess of Aslam Imandar, Asif admires his brother's raiding skills, drawing motivation to enhance his own gameplay. Although he hasn't had formal representations yet, Asif's dedication to the sport speaks volumes about his potential and determination. Currently pursuing his Masters Degree in Commerce (M.Com) in the second year, Asif balances his academic pursuits with his passion for kabaddi. Alongside his academic endeavors, Asif also indulges in cricket and kho-kho, showcasing his love for sports beyond kabaddi. With aspirations to compete in the prestigious Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), Asif sets his sights on the ultimate goal of representing his team on the grand stage. With his unwavering determination, exceptional skills, and relentless work ethic, Asif Sikandar Nadaf is poised to carve his name in the annals of kabaddi history and fulfill his dreams of donning the jersey in the PKL arena.
