Pravin Rathod

Pravin Pandit Rathod, born on January 1, 2004, hails from Manta, Jalna, Maharashtra, where he currently resides. His father, Pandit Rathod, works as a farmer, while his mother, Sunitha Rathod, manages the household. He has an elder brother named Ravi Rathod. Pravin journey in kabaddi began at the age of 15, inspired by the senior players in his village. Excelling as an All Rounder, he showcases versatility in both the Right Raider and Right Cover positions. His mastery of the ""Dubki"" maneuver adds depth to his gameplay, making him a formidable opponent on the mat. Under the mentorship of coaches Ajay Rathod and Panjabrao Wagh, Pravin refines his skills at the Village Ground in Manta. Siddharth Sirish Desai, an Indian kabaddi player, serves as Pravin's source of inspiration, both for his gameplay and personal qualities. Despite his young age, Pravin has already represented his district in 2023, securing third place. With aspirations to build a career in kabaddi, Pravin remains dedicated to honing his skills and making a mark in the sport.
