Vishal Chavan, born on May 4, 2003, hails from Amphoda Kadam, Mantha Takula, District Jalna, Maharashtra, but currently resides in Sambhaji Nagar, Jalna. His father, Madhukar Chavan, and mother, Malanbai, are both farmers, and he has an elder brother named Krishna and three elder sisters, Puja, Sulochana, and Seema, all of whom are married. At the age of 12, Vishal embarked on his kabaddi journey, primarily excelling as a Right Raider. His signature move, the "Lion Jump," showcases his agility and strength on the mat. Under the guidance of his coach, Panjabrao Wagh, Vishal refines his skills at the Bharatmata Kridamandal in Sambhaji Nagar. Inspired by the calm demeanor and speed of Aslam Inamdar from the Puneri Paltan, Vishal admires him as his favorite player. Despite his slim physique, Vishal's outstanding performance in the Satsang Munde State Game in Jalna in 2023 earned him recognition as the best player of the match, despite competing against players in the open age category. While pursuing his first year of Bachelor's in Homeopathy, Vishal aspires to establish his own practice and ensure stability for himself and his family. His future plans include marriage, preferably to a doctor, while continuing to pursue kabaddi passionately.
