Dipak Jadhav

Deepak Jadhav, born on November 6, 2002, in Jamkhed, Jalna, Maharashtra, continues to reside in his hometown. His father, Lakshman Jadhav, earns a living as a farmer, while his mother, Janabai Jadhav, manages their household. Deepak has an elder brother named Uttam Jadhav, though neither sibling currently participates in kabaddi. Deepak's journey in kabaddi commenced around the age of 13 or 14, sparked by a visit to a neighboring village where he witnessed a kabaddi match during a school trip. Inspired by the game's intensity and strategy, he delved into the sport, finding his calling as an All Rounder, adept at both the Right Corner and Right Raider positions. His mastery lies in executing precise "Toe Touch" maneuvers, catching opponents off guard. Guided by a series of coaches including Kisan Tarde, Lakshman Vaidya, Sanjay Yelwante, and Panjabrao Wagh, Deepak refines his skills at the Jamuvant Krida Mandal in Jamkhed. He draws inspiration from Akshay Suryawanshi, a University gold medalist and KMP player, admiring not only his gameplay but also his resilience in overcoming life's challenges. Deepak's contributions to kabaddi have earned him representations at the State level for Jalna District from 2021 to 2023, showcasing his talent and dedication to the sport. A notable highlight in his career dates back to 2020 when he led his team to victory against formidable opponents, marking a significant milestone in his journey by triumphing over his senior counterparts for the first time. Currently pursuing his first year of BSc, Deepak aspires to secure employment through the sports quota, leveraging his passion and proficiency in kabaddi to carve out a successful career path.
