Akash Vishnu Divate, born on September 21, 2003, hails from Kingao Jalna, Maharashtra, where he currently resides. Growing up in a farming family, with his father Vishnu Divate and mother Sharda Divate, Akash discovered his passion for kabaddi at the age of 14, during his school days. Despite having siblings, an elder sister Vanita Divate, and a younger brother Vikas Divate, none shared his enthusiasm for the sport. Primarily assuming the role of a Left Raider, Akash's expertise lies in executing the Toe Touch move with finesse, making him a formidable force on the kabaddi mat. Under the mentorship of coach Ambadas Gite at Midline Academy Jalna, Akash hones his skills, drawing inspiration from kabaddi maestro Pradeep Narwal, particularly admiring his signature Dubki move. While kabaddi remains his foremost passion, Akash also finds joy in playing Kho-Kho, showcasing his versatile athleticism across multiple sports. Pursuing his college graduation degree in TYBL, Akash aspires to elevate his kabaddi career to new heights, with ambitions to compete in the prestigious Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). Akash's career highlights include a memorable state-level match where his decisive raid in the final moments resulted in a super tackle, securing victory for his team. With a steadfast commitment to excellence and a burning desire to shine on the PKL stage, Akash remains steadfast in his pursuit of kabaddi glory.
