Jayesh Vikas Mahajan, born on July 30, 2004, in Deogaon Village, Jalgaon District, Maharashtra, is a talented kabaddi enthusiast representing the Nandurbar team in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Growing up in a rural setting, Jayesh developed a passion for kabaddi from an early age, starting his journey in the sport at the tender age of 10. His innate talent and dedication have led him to specialize as a formidable Right Corner Defender on the kabaddi court. Born to Vikas Dayaram Mahajan, a hardworking cotton farmer, and Vaishali Vikas Mahajan, a devoted homemaker, Jayesh draws inspiration from his supportive family. Although his elder sister has pursued a different path, graduating in Statistics and now married, Jayesh remains focused on his kabaddi aspirations. Under the guidance of experienced mentors such as Yogesh Bari, Kamlesh Patil, and Dadaso Awad, Jayesh has honed his skills at the Baramati Sport Academy. His favorite player, Girish Ernak, known for his exceptional Corner-to-Corner Dash skill, serves as a source of inspiration for Jayesh's own gameplay. Jayesh's remarkable journey in kabaddi includes notable achievements such as clinching the Bronze medal in the Khelo India U18 tournaments of 2022 and 2023. His crowning moment came in the Junior National of 2024, where he showcased exceptional performance, scoring six crucial tackle points against formidable opponents. Currently pursuing his education in the first year of B.Sc., Jayesh remains committed to his kabaddi dreams, aspiring to represent Junior India and eventually make his mark in the Pro Kabaddi league.
