Akshay Mukund Patil, born on January 29, 2002, in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, currently resides in Dhule. His father, Mukund Patil, is involved in the transport business, while his mother, Usha Mukund Patil, is a homemaker. Akshay has a younger sister named Payal, who doesn't play kabaddi like him. Akshay's kabaddi journey began at the age of 16 when he started playing in school. He quickly found his place as an All Rounder, specializing in various positions including Right-Left Raider and Left Corner. Under the guidance of his father, who also serves as his coach, Akshay trains diligently at the Chetan Bahugule Academy in Dhule. Inspired by the raiding skills of Rahul Chaudhary during his school days, Akshay developed a fondness for kabaddi. Despite his busy schedule, Akshay also enjoys playing cricket in his free time. Akshay's dedication and talent have earned him opportunities to represent his district in four Junior State Championships. One of his career highlights includes scoring crucial raid points in succession during an All India tournament in 2024, leading his team to victory. Looking ahead, Akshay aspires to play for the Indian kabaddi team, fueled by his passion for the sport and his desire to excel at the highest level. Currently pursuing a degree in FYBSC, Akshay remains focused on his studies while pursuing his dreams in kabaddi.
