Fuelled by a passion for the sport and the desire to make a mark, Sumitra embraced her role as a Right Raider, showcasing a penchant for the electrifying Running Hand Touch—a skill that demands precision and agility. Sumitra's roots lie in a supportive family where her father, Hanuman Sahaya, plies his trade as a skilled mechanic, and her mother, Geeta Devi, nurtures the warmth of their home as a dedicated homemaker. Together with her two elder sisters, a younger brother, and a younger sister, the Choudhary family forms a solid support system for Sumitra's kabaddi pursuits.
