Her father, Gulab Sharma, is a Property Dealer, while her mother, Sumitra Sharma, takes care of the household. Priya has a younger sister and a younger brother, with her sister being actively involved in playing kabaddi. Priya's kabaddi journey began at the age of 12, and she specializes as a Right Raider on the kabaddi mat. Renowned for her swift hand touches, Priya has honed her skills over the years, representing her School, College, District, State, and Nationals levels in various kabaddi tournaments. One of her notable achievements includes winning the bronze medal at the School Games Federation India (SGFI) Nationals held in Madhya Pradesh in 2018.
