Priya Singh, born on December 21, 2005, in Gangana, Sonipat, is a talented kabaddi player representing "Panchala Pride" in the JSG Women's Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024. Currently, she resides in Delhi for training at the academy, situated in the Delhi NCR (Union Territory). Priya's father, Mahipal Singh, serves in the Army as a Subedhar, while her mother, Suman Devi, is a homemaker. She has one younger brother. Priya started playing kabaddi at the age of 15 and holds the position of Right Cover Defender. Her best skill on the kabaddi mat is executing blocks effectively. She receives guidance from coaches Suresh Kumar in Rindhana and Sangeeta Dalal in Delhi, both contributing to her development. The SS Academy in Chhawla is her designated practice location. Surjeet is Priya's favorite kabaddi player, and she admires him for his skills in the cover position. She has learned and developed her game by watching him play for Team India. In addition to representing her school, college, district, and state, Priya has participated in national-level tournaments. One of her career highlights includes winning the Best Defender Award in a local tournament in Tamil Nadu in 2022. Looking ahead, Priya aspires to compete in the Asian Games and aims to secure a job in either the Railways or the Police department.
