Reenu

Reenu, born on August 2, 2003, in Jind, Haryana, is a skilled kabaddi player representing "Panchala Pride" in the JSG Women's Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024. She is currently located at SS Academy in Delhi, belonging to the Delhi NCR (Union Territory). Reenu's father, Sri Baljeet, works as a driver, and her mother, Srimathi Suman, is a homemaker. She has several siblings, including one elder sister (Meenu), three younger sisters (Manisha, Rinku, Jyoti), and one younger brother (Kismat). Among her siblings, Jyothi plays kabaddi. Reenu initiated her kabaddi journey in the 9th class, influenced by friends who played the sport. As a Right Raider, she excels in skills like Bonus and Handtouch. Throughout her kabaddi career, Reenu has had notable coaches guiding her progress. Sudhir Khatkar was her first coach, followed by Mohan Rana, and her current coach is Sangeetha Dalal. The SS Academy in Chawla, Delhi, serves as her practice location. Her favorite kabaddi players are Vikas Kandola and Pardeep Narwal, admired for their exceptional skills. Besides kabaddi, Reenu enjoys wrestling and Circle Kabaddi as her favorite sports. Reenu has represented her school, college, district, state, and participated in university games. One of her career highlights includes achieving the title of the best all-rounder in the A-grade tournament in Karnataka in 2023. Looking ahead, Reenu aspires to play for the Indian national kabaddi team, showcasing her determination and passion for the sport.
