Balamurugan P

Balamurugan, born on May 22, 1999, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, is currently residing in the same city. His father, Pattudurai, is a business owner, while his mother, Puppy, takes care of the household. Balamurugan has two elder brothers named Krishnakumar and Manikandan, as well as an elder sister named Sathya. Among his siblings, Manikandan is the one who plays kabaddi. Balamurugan's journey in kabaddi began at the age of 6, inspired by his seniors who were already involved in the sport. He primarily plays as a Left Raider and excels in bonus moves. Vignesh, a senior player, serves as his coach, guiding him in his kabaddi training sessions. Balamurugan practices at Kannan Memorial Team and Savita University. Pardeep Kumar is his favorite kabaddi player, admired for his adept use of the dubki move. Apart from kabaddi, Balamurugan enjoys playing cricket and is pursuing a college graduation degree in BPed, currently in his second year. He has represented his team in various tournaments, including the YKS Winter Edition'23 with Chola Veerans and the 2023 South Zone University Games held in Andhra Pradesh. Balamurugan cherishes games where his team overcomes a significant deficit to secure victory. His future aspiration is to become a Physical Education Teacher, a career path aligned with his passion for sports and physical fitness.
