Akash M was born on March 13, 2001, in the vibrant city of Bengaluru, Karnataka. With a father like Mohan M, a former kabaddi player, it was only natural for Akash to develop a passion for the sport at a young age. Inspired by his father's dedication, he started playing kabaddi when he was just ten years old, realizing early on how much joy the game could bring. Today, Akash has transitioned from player to mentor as he coaches kabaddi at Kendra Vidya School. His experience has been nothing short of rewarding, as he proudly watches 42 of his students shine at the junior nationals. In addition to nurturing talent, he continually sharpens his own skills at the HMT Colony Boys Academy, where he focuses on mastering the double thigh hold, his favorite technique. Akash admires the skills of Ravinder Pahal, from whom he refined his signature move. His aspirations are crystal clear: he dreams of representing India on the national stage & international and making his mark in the Pro Kabaddi League. With a diploma in hand and fluency in several languages, Akash is on a promising path. His journey is just getting started, and his resolve for greatness in kabaddi is unwavering.
