This enthusiastic 23-year-old took his first steps into the world of kabaddi at the age of 18, captivated by the dazzling performances of Pardeep Narwal on the Pro Kabaddi League stage. With a heart full of determination and guided by coach Anil Rathee at the UK Academy in Haridwar, Deepak has honed his skills as a left raider, demonstrating particular adeptness in the Running Hand Touch and his favorite Dubki technique. Deepak balances his passion for kabaddi with academia, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in his Second Year. His dedication to sports doesn’t stop with kabaddi; he has showcased his athletic prowess in wrestling, even competing at the national level during his school days. Raised in a supportive family with his mother, Sangeeta, a homemaker, and father, Promod Lohan, a farmer, Deepak's aspirations are fueled by a desire to serve in the Indian Army while playing at the professional level.
