Jakkula Rajashekar

Born on July 22, 2000, in the charming village of Devathpally, Nalgonda, Telangana, Jakkula Rajashekar is a spirited young kabaddi player making his mark in the sports arena. Growing up in a humble farming family, with his father Jakkula Sreeshailam and mother Jakkula Dhanamma both dedicated to agriculture, Rajashekar learned the essence of hard work from an early age. He shares his home with an elder brother, Jakkula Rakesh, who has been a pillar of support throughout his journey. Rajashekar's love for kabaddi sparked at the age of 18, largely thanks to the encouragement of his physical education teacher. He took to the sport with enthusiasm, quickly establishing himself as a Left Raider known for his agility and skills, particularly in running hand touch and bonus plays. Under the mentorship of Coach Ravi Kumar at the Joythi Club in LB Nagar, he polished his abilities and began competing in various tournaments. His journey has already seen him perform on notable platforms, including the Senior Nationals in 2024 and the South Zone University event with Osmania University in 2022. Inspired by his idol, Rahul Chaudhari, Rajashekar dreams of achieving great things. While ko sports, he has aspirations of joining the Defence to serve his country proudly. With a background in Bachelor of Physical Education, Rajashekar is ready to tackle new challenges, both on and off the kabaddi mat.
