Born on December 9, 2005, in the charming village of Bhanjra, Uttarakhand, this young kabaddi enthusiast has always harbored a fascination for the game. Growing up in a loving family, with his father Jawahar Singh Rana working on the farm and his mother Samo Devi managing the household, he learned the values of hard work and dedication early on. His journey into the world of kabaddi began at the age of 16, fueled by his childhood curiosity. Currently residing in Vikas Nagar, Dehradun, he trains under the guidance of Coach Rishi Pal Singh Tomar at Guru Prasth Academy in Khanpur. As a Right Cover Defender, he has honed his skills, particularly enjoying the Dash and Thigh Hold techniques. The thrill of competing at the Junior Nationals in 2022 and again scheduled for 2024 keeps his competitive spirit alive. His participation in the EMT Winter Edition 2023 as part of the Himalayan Tahrs team showcases his commitment to advancing in the sport. With aspirations to represent Team India and play in the Pro Kabaddi League, he remains focused on his goals while juggling his undergraduate studies. Inspired by his favorite player Sunil Malik, he dreams of leaving a mark in the kabaddi arena.
