Meet Oruganti Suresh, a vibrant kabaddi player hailing from Valmidi, Telangana. Born on October 10, 2000, Suresh grew up in a loving family that nurtured his passion for sports. His mother, Sharadha, a devoted homemaker, has always been his biggest supporter, while his late father, Veera Swamy, along with his brothers, Harish and Ajay, created an encouraging environment where Suresh could thrive. At the age of 16, he stepped onto the kabaddi mat for the first time, inspired by the impressive skills of senior players. Training under his childhood coach, Srinavas, Suresh discovered his love for the game. As a Left Raider, he has honed his skills in running hand touches and kick techniques, influenced by his favorite player, Pawan Sehrawat. Suresh's competitive journey has seen him represent Telangana in the Junior Nationals in 2020 and the Senior Nationals in 2022. Recently, he participated in the Monsoon Edition of the YKS tournament with the Vijayanagara Veers. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in hand, Suresh is now focused on breaking into the Pro Kabaddi League, where he dreams of leaving his mark while cherishing the values and support from his hometown.
