Meet Badal Kumar, a vibrant young talent born on July 18, 2005, in Patna, Bihar. Raised in a loving household, he draws strength from his mother, Dwanti Devi, a dedicated police officer, and his elder brother, Vishal Singh, who has always been a source of inspiration. Badal's journey into the world of kabaddi began at the age of 13 when he became captivated by the sport while watching his classmates compete at school. Under the guidance of his coach, Mukesh Kumar Rao, Badal has developed into an impressive Right Corner Defender at the Pataliputra Academy in Patna. His favorite move, the thigh hold, showcases his skill and determination, making him stand out on the field. Badal is also inspired by his favorite player, Kushan Singh, whose hand touch skills he admires despite Kushan's unfortunate injury that has sidelined him from the game. Although Badal is still on his journey in competitions like the Khelo India Youth Games, he views every experience as a valuable step toward growth. Currently a Second Year undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, he has dreams of becoming a Real Estate Broker and is already taking strides toward that goal by engaging in small deals with his uncle's firm. With his passion for kabaddi and a solid educational foundation, Badal's future shines bright with possibilities.
