Mulchand Sahu

Mulchand Sahu was born on December 8, 2005, in the vibrant city of Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. Growing up in a close-knit family, he is the youngest among three siblings, with his elder sister Manju, brother Sanju, and another sister Anju cheering him on. His father, Indra Kumar Sahu, is a dedicated mason, while his mother, Urvashi Sahu, keeps the family grounded as a housewife. Mulchand's journey into the world of kabaddi began at just 12 years old. His passion sparked while playing in school, and he has since joined the Veer Shivaji Kabaddi Club under the guidance of coach Hemant Yadav. As an all-rounder, he excels as a left raider, showcasing his best skill - the toe touch. He draws inspiration from his favorite player, Pawan Sehrawat, especially admiring his impressive bonus-taking ability and skillful kicks. Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Physical Education and Bachelor of Sports, Mulchand aims to shine at the Junior Nationals, where he reached the quarterfinals. With dreams of representing India in kabaddi, this young talent is determined to make his mark in the sport he loves.
