Born on May 23, 2002, in the lovely town of Puducherry, C Prithiv Raj discovered his passion for kabaddi when he was just 12 years old. Watching local players showcase their skills inspired him to dive headfirst into the sport. Seeking to improve, he joined the Shokamuthu Club in Madukere, where he trained under the watchful eye of coach Adit Dravide Ramji. Growing up in a modest household, Prithiv understands the importance of hard work. His parents, Chandrakasan and Kaathayi, both laborers, instilled values of perseverance in him from a young age. As the third sibling, he shares a close bond with his younger sisters, Madhumita and Madhubala, who cheer him on in his kabaddi journey. As an all-rounder, Prithiv shines in the right corner defender and left raider positions, and he has a particular knack for scoring bonus points. Drawing inspiration from the talented Ajay Thakur, he aspires to create his unique legacy in the kabaddi world. Currently, he plays for the Chola Veerans in the state-level YKS Mysore while pursuing a Bachelor of Physical Education and a degree in Tamil. With dreams of working as a policeman one day, Prithiv remains focused on his goals, tirelessly aiming for success both on the mat and in life.
