Santhosh Kumar S was born on June 5, 2002, in Kadaloor, Tamil Nadu, where he currently resides. His father, Saravanan E, works as a tailor, while his mother, Kamala S, manages their household. Santhosh has a younger brother named Kowshik, who also shares his passion for Kabaddi and plays for the St. Joseph's College Club in Kadaloor. Santhosh's Kabaddi journey began at the age of 13, and he quickly found his niche as a Right Raider, specializing in the toe touch move. Under the mentorship of his cousin, Balamurugan, who is a senior player at Raja Brothers Kabaddi Club in Kadaloor, Santhosh honed his skills at various practice locations, including the Prist University College Ground in Thanjavoor and the Raja Brothers Club Ground in Kadaloor. Inspired by players like Aslam Inamdar from the Puneri Paltan, Santhosh admires their speed and agility on the mat. His career highlights include representing his school team, St. Joseph's School in Kadaloor, where they secured 3rd runners-up in the State championship. He also participated in the South Zone All India University tournament. Apart from Kabaddi, Santhosh enjoys playing volleyball, although he considers himself an average player in the sport. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in English, with plans to complete his degree in 2026. His aspirations include joining the police force as a Sub-Inspector, aiming to serve his community and contribute to maintaining law and order.
