Saiprasad Patil

Saiprasad Tukaram Patil, born on September 29, 2003, in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, is a dedicated kabaddi player representing the Kolhapur team in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Currently residing in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, Saiprasad's father, Tukaram Patil, serves as a police officer, while his mother, Manisha, is a homemaker. He has a younger sister named Tanvi Patil, who does not play kabaddi. Saiprasad's journey in kabaddi began at the age of 12 when he started playing in school. He excels as a Right Corner Defender and is particularly known for his blocking skills. Under the guidance of his coach, Shivaji Mugadum, Saiprasad hones his abilities at the Mavala Sadoli Club in Kolhapur. Akash Shinde is Saiprasad's favorite player, admired for his raiding skills. Saiprasad appreciates Akash's prowess on the mat, which serves as inspiration for his own game. Apart from kabaddi, Saiprasad also enjoys playing cricket. He is currently pursuing a degree in BA and is in his first year of college. Saiprasad's career highlights include his participation in the Nationals Khelo India in 2021. His aspiration is to play in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) and continue making strides in his kabaddi career.
