Dadasao Pujari, born on August 2, 2004, hails from Shiroli, Kolhapur, and represents Kolhapur in the KMP YKS 2024 kabaddi tournament. Currently residing in his hometown, Dadasao's father, Shivaji, is a farmer, while his mother, Maya, manages their household. He has two younger sisters, Durgeshwari and Lakshmi, who do not play kabaddi. Dadasao's journey in kabaddi began at the age of 12, influenced by witnessing his close acquaintances actively participating in the sport. Inspired by their passion and skill, he embarked on his own kabaddi journey, specializing as a right corner defender. His proficiency lies in executing precise ankle holds, effectively restraining opponents' raiding attempts. Under the guidance of coach Utham Gavde at Yuva Paltan, Dadasao has honed his skills and developed into a formidable defender on the kabaddi mat. He holds great admiration for Rishank Devadiga, a former India kabaddi player, whose performances in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) left a lasting impression on him. Dadasao has represented his school and participated in prestigious tournaments such as the Junior Nationals and Khelo India. His career highlight includes playing in the Pro Kabaddi League and clinching the championship, a testament to his dedication and talent in the sport. Outside of kabaddi, Dadasao enjoys playing cricket and has completed his education up to the 12th standard. With aspirations to represent the Senior Indian Kabaddi Team, he remains focused on his training and aims to continue making strides in the sport to fulfill his dreams at the national level.
