Prashant Jadhav, born on June 20, 2001, in Karjat, Maharashtra, is a dedicated Kabaddi player representing Raigad District in the KMP YKS 2024 tournament. Hailing from Karjat, Maharashtra, Prashant's family plays a significant role in his life, with his father, Pandurang Jadhav, managing businesses in hotels and a wine shop, and his mother, Shobha Jadhav, dedicating herself to homemaking. He shares his upbringing with his two elder sisters, who, although not Kabaddi players, provide unwavering support. Prashant's Kabaddi journey commenced at the age of 13, with a specialization as a Right Raider. His skill set includes proficiency in the Kick maneuver, honed under the guidance of coach Prashant Chavhan at Om Kalyan Club in Thane and Raivadi, Alibaugh. Inspired by record-breaker Pardeep Narwal, Prashant aspires to emulate his idol's success on the Kabaddi mat. Having represented at various levels, including the Junior District championships in Pune in 2017 and the Open National Championship with the Thane team in 2018 (Ahmednagar - Silver), 2019 (Nashik), and 2020 (Sangli - Silver), Prashant's journey in Kabaddi is marked by notable achievements. Notably, he participated in the Nationals in Ahmednagar in 2023, showcasing his talent on a national platform. Despite taking a break from his B.Com education after completing two years, Prashant remains committed to his dream of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League.
