Pranav Bhatigiee

Pranav Vivek Bhatikare, born on August 30, 2005, hails from Renapur, Latur, Maharashtra, where he currently resides. His father, Vivek Bhatikare, a teacher by profession, instilled the love for kabaddi in him from a young age, being a former National-level kabaddi player himself. Pranav's journey in kabaddi began in the 5th standard under his father's guidance, and his passion for the sport flourished ever since. As an all-rounder, Pranav exhibits versatility in his playing positions, excelling as both a right raider and a right cover defender. His skillset includes proficient techniques such as dash, hand touch, and bonus, making him a formidable asset on the kabaddi mat. Inspired by the legendary Anup Kumar, Pranav's raiding style mirrors that of his idol, particularly drawn to Anup's mastery in bonus skills. Representing Maharashtra at various levels, including the U-14 Nationals and State championships, Pranav has left a mark in the kabaddi arena. Among his career highlights is his selection for the U-14 Nationals in 2018, a testament to his dedication and prowess in the sport. Alongside kabaddi, Pranav harbors a fondness for football, showcasing his sporting versatility. Currently pursuing a B.Tech degree in his second year, Pranav aspires to make a mark in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) and represent the nation on the international stage, driven by his passion and determination for the sport. With his skills and dedication, Pranav aims to carve a successful career in kabaddi while making his family and community proud.
