Rushikesh Ramesh Gadakh, born on February 19, 2002, hails from Dindori, Maharashtra, and currently resides in Korate. Coming from a family of farmers, with his father Ramesh Gadakh and mother Bharti Ramesh Gadakh, Rushikesh discovered his passion for kabaddi relatively late, starting to play in college at the age of 18. Despite his delayed start, Rushikesh quickly made a name for himself as a skilled left raider, showcasing an exceptional knack for executing bonus moves. Under the guidance of his coach Sandeep Kadam at Radur Shambho Club, Rushikesh honed his abilities, with a particular focus on refining his bonus skills. He draws inspiration from kabaddi player Akash Shinde, admiring his prowess in executing bonus moves on the mat. While Rushikesh's family members don't actively participate in kabaddi, they support his passion wholeheartedly. He has an elder brother who, although not involved in kabaddi, encourages Rushikesh in his pursuits. Beyond kabaddi, Rushikesh holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, currently in the final year of his studies. He achieved a significant milestone by winning a bronze medal in the Maharashtra Olympics Games, marking a proud moment in his career. With aspirations to represent the nation on the international stage, Rushikesh dreams of donning the Indian jersey and bringing glory to his country through his kabaddi prowess. Despite starting later than most players, Rushikesh's determination and commitment to the sport serve as a testament to his potential to excel at the highest levels of the game.
